These terms govern the use of the mencovatech.com website and, generally, the relationship between Mencova Tech ("we") and those who hire our software development services ("the client"). The specific terms of each project are defined in the proposal or contract signed with each client; this document applies as a supplement when that contract does not cover a particular point.

1. Use of the site

The content of this site is informational. You may browse it and use the contact form to reach us. You may not use the site for unlawful purposes, or attempt to compromise its security or scrape its content without authorization.

2. Scope of services

Custom development, maintenance, technical consulting, AI agent development and RAG architecture services are provided under the scope, timeline and rates agreed in writing in each proposal or contract. No information published on this site constitutes a binding offer or a commitment on price or timeline.

3. Intellectual property

Unless a project's contract states otherwise, ownership of custom-built software is transferred to the client once the agreed payment is complete. Mencova Tech retains the right to reuse general technical knowledge, architecture patterns and its own non-client-specific code (internal libraries, templates) in other projects.

The content of this site (text, brand, logo, design) is the property of Mencova Tech and may not be reproduced without authorization.

4. Confidentiality

We treat all technical and business information a client shares for the execution of a project as confidential, and only use it for the purposes of that project.

5. Liability

We work to professional quality standards, but we do not guarantee software will be one hundred percent free of errors. Our liability for any claim related to a project is limited to what is set out in that project's specific contract.

6. Use of artificial intelligence

We may use artificial intelligence tools as part of our development process. Details of how and under what conditions AI is used in our processes and in the software we build are described on our AI usage page.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, without prejudice to the specific conditions agreed in an individual contract with a client in another jurisdiction.
